One of the services we provide at PIH is a full 3D CAD design of custom framing projects. We use the latest version of Autodesk’s Inventor™ to design a complete model of the frame, fasteners, machining, custom panels and any other parts that are included. This gives us a real-time Parts List that can be quoted by customer service and accurately built by the customer or our shop technicians. We can also provide a full CAD model to the customer for design reviews or to add to a customer’s layout.

PIH has a team of CAD designers with an amazing 48 combined years of experience designing and assembling Bosch framing. We work mostly behind the scenes with the customers and Account Managers to create these framing solutions. I would like to introduce them to you.

Joseph Harvey is the senior CAD Designer here at PIH and has been here for almost 17 years. He was born in Tacoma, WA and raised in Texas. After getting his education from Prairie View A&M University and ITT Tech, he returned to live the Pacific NW. Joseph has spent several years volunteering with a Pierce County program to help troubled youth. He also is a serious comic collector and likes to travel.

Gilbert Surita is a Tacoma lifer and has been with Pacific Integrated for 11 years. He moved to our CAD design team 2 years ago and brought us 8 years of valuable experience as an Assembly Technician in our production floor. Gilbert is a talented artist and uses his art and design skills in personal side projects as well as his Bosch designs.

Jacob Schult recently came to PIH from a Bosch distributor in Colorado where he was head Project Designer and shop supervisor for 5 years. He graduated from The Art Institute of Colorado with a BA in Industrial Design and brings his creative problem-solving skills to us on designs. Jacob enjoys creating product and furniture designs in his spare time, along with snowboarding, and camping.

My name is Jay Rogers and I am the Director of Engineering for our Bosch group. I was raised in Oklahoma and graduated from Oklahoma State University. I spent time in the hydraulics & pneumatics industry in Arizona and Colorado before coming to Washington and PIH has been my home for almost 16 years now. I enjoy traveling with my wife and kids and sneak in time for cycling, fly-fishing, or other outdoor activities whenever possible.

With this diverse and experienced group of designers, we enjoy coming up with framing solutions for our customers.
