When Turner Road Vintners, part of Constellation Brands, decided to bring Tetra packaging to the facility in Lodi, CA in 2013, we needed a way to store the product more efficiently.  The Tetra package pallets are not able to stack more than two high so we turned to Pacific Integrated Handling (PIH) to come up with a solution. They introduced us to a semi-automated pallet storage system that enabled us to utilize our existing warehouse’s vertical space and store the Tetra product 5 pallets high while maintaining the integrity of our product.

PIH’s solution enables us to efficiently store over 1100 pallets of product in an area that would only store 400 pallets of Tetra product without the racking system. Installation was completed in June of 2014 and has been operating smoothly from day one.
