Kassow Robots

Kassow Robots is now a part of Bosch Rexroth. With this powerful collaboration, we improve our advances in robotic technology even further and join forces to create even more value for our customers.

Kassow Robots founded in Copenhagen, Denmark is developing and producing unique and efficient 7-axes lightweight collaborative robots for industrial applications.

A payload of 5 to 18 kg and a reach of 850 to 1800 mm – all delivered at joint speeds of up to 225 degrees per second. The five lightweight 7-axes cobots are ready to go to work in virtually no time – at companies of all sizes.

The cobots offer both speed and power, while also providing a long reach and high payload. The user-friendliness of these cobots gives companies great flexibility and enables SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) without in-house robotics specialists to achieve complex automation and programming cost-effectively and independently

EDGE Edition

Kassow Robots’ Edge Edition is the most compact collaborative robot on the market, packing all the power of their KR Series into a design with an integrated controller built directly into the cobot’s base — eliminating the need for an external controller entirely. Built for AGV and AMR applications, it runs on a direct DC power supply (42–58VDC) and can operate in automatic mode without a Teach Pendant once programmed. With 7 axes, 5 models, and a standard 160×200mm footprint, it offers enhanced precision, increased reach, and advanced safety features, making it an ideal mobile automation solution across a wide range of industries.

Beyond its hardware capabilities, the Edge Edition is backed by a robust software ecosystem designed for ease of use and flexibility. The intuitive tablet-based interface, built on Android, supports block-based programming, split-screen functionality, and native 3D engines, while the REMII Offline Programming tool lets users emulate and program the full system without a Teach Pendant. For teams needing even greater control, the optional Sensitive Arm upgrade adds integrated torque sensors on each joint, enabling precise force control for complex contact-based tasks like pushing, pressing, and bending. With support for peripherals from OnRobot, Robotiq, Pickit, and more through Kassow’s modular Cbun framework, the Edge Edition is a highly adaptable solution present in over 30 countries through a network of 90+ partners.
