The TS1 conveyor provides a solution for small, light-weight work pieces. A complete series of pallet based transfer, positioning, and control modules satisfies all requirements of manual and automated assembly operations, and allows the configuration flexibility required in today's competitive manufacturing environment.
TS1 anti-static pallets protect delicate components better than other conveyor systems while allowing access to the workpiece from any direction. Light-weight plastic pallets are available for inspection or light assembly processes, while rugged steel pallets provide a solution for applications which require more precision.
What Can I Manufacture with a TS1 Conveyor?
- Small electronic components including disk drives and computer accessories.
- Automotive components including sensors and coils.
- Biomedical components.
Available in 3 Different Sizes and Weight Capacities:
Size 1: 80x80 mm (3.15 inch), 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs)
Size 2: 120x120 mm (4.72 inch), 2.2 kg (4.8 lbs)
Size 3: 160x160 mm (6.3 inch), 3.0 kg (6.6 lbs)
How does the TS1 Conveyor Maximize Productivity in a Minimum of Valuable Space?
Each dual belt drive module can carry up to 80 kg (176 lbs) of pallets and product at nominal speeds of 9, 12, 15 or 18 meters per minute; a drive connector kit allows sections to be connected to create systems of any length.
90 and 180 degree curves reduce control costs and improve system cycle rates while lift-transverse units and transverse conveyors provide for pallet transfer between parallel lines and over short distances, such as spur lines for workpiece inspection.
For automated assembly operations, a modular positioning unit provides pallet position within ±0.02mm (0.0008").
The TSplus assembly conveyor is part of the larger family of TS (Transfer Systems) from Bosch Rexroth. Like all TS products, the TSplus is a work-piece pallet based, non-synchronous, conveyor designed to improve manufacturing productivity and product quality while allowing for maximum assembly flexibility.
With your choice of 3 different conveying media (belt, flat-top chain, or roller chain) and 26 different pallet sizes, combined with an extensive range of positioning and transfer modules, the TSplus is now the world's leading assembly conveyor.
Why is TSplus easy to specify and use?
All components of theTSplus system are pre-engineered and modular. That means you can mix belt, flat-top chain or roller chain and accessory modules as needs require. The system can be easily expanded, reconfigured or relocated as your needs change. You can phase in your investment as time and budget permit. Start with a simple conveyor for basic assembly and grow into a fully automated, progressive assembly system. As production requirements change, TSplus gives you the flexibility to add manual or automatic workstations.
Modularity also simplifies system design and assembly. As a result, you can be more responsive to changing market demands. Installation and maintenance are also simple - further reducing up-front as well as ongoing costs.
Why is the workpiece pallet so important?
TSplus conveyors transport parts on workpiece pallets. The workpiece pallets (26 sizes, from 160 x 160mm to 1040 x 1040mm) ride on the surface of the conveying medium. This transport method has many advantages for product assembly applications, including:
Pallets can be positioned at workstations to ± 0.05mm (0.002") when used with a Rexroth Lift-Position Unit, permitting precision assembly operations.
Pallets can be tooled with fixtures to secure parts for manual or automated operations. Identification and data carrying devices (used to coordinate assembly sequences, identify model types, etc.) are also commonly mounted to pallets.
Pallets can be stopped on the leading or trailing edge - regardless of pallet orientation on the conveyor. Pallets can also be accumulated in queue and released one at a time.
Exciter plates on the pallet bottom and sides work with conveyor-mounted proximity switches to sense pallet presence. Pallet orientation and routing can be controlled using Rexroth ID/10, ID/15 or ID/40 identification systems.
The TS4plus assembly conveyor, along with TS1 and TSplus is part of the new generation of TS modular conveyors for flexible assembly. Like all TS products, TS4plus is a workpiece-pallet based conveyor system designed to improve manufacturing productivity and product quality while allowing for maximum assembly flexibility.
All components of the TS4plus system are pre-engineered and modular. The system can be easily expanded, reconfigured, or relocated as your production needs change. You can phase in your investment as time and budget permit. Start with a simple conveyor for basic assembly, and grow into a fully automated, progressive assembly system. As production requirements change, TS4plus gives you the flexibility to add manual or automatic workstations.
Applications for TS4plus
The TS4plus system can be used in precision assembly and testing applications with a total pallet payload up to 250 kg (550 lbs). Typical types of products that can be assembled using TS4plus include:
• Automotive assemblies
• Drivetrain components
• Home appliances
