MODULA Horizon Carousel

The Modula Horizontal Carousel (HC) is the ideal solution when you need high-speed picking performance in a low-ceiling environment. Designed for operations where vertical space is limited but productivity demands are high, the HC maximizes every square foot without sacrificing efficiency.

The system consists of carriers (bins) mounted on an oval track that rotate horizontally to bring stored goods directly to the operator. Using a goods-to-person approach, items are automatically delivered to the picker, eliminating unnecessary walking time and significantly reducing search time.

Horizontal Carousels in Pods

Horizontal carousels arranged in pods are designed to keep operators moving and orders flowing. Integrated software and pick-to-light technology allow each carousel to work in sync, optimizing pick paths and reducing unnecessary motion.

While an operator picks from one unit, another carousel within the pod is already rotating and pre-positioning the next item. This continuous operation minimizes downtime, increases throughput, and supports greater picking accuracy.
